Protected: How Jesus Moves us Past our Mistakes

Sometimes when to-do lists press in, lingering to seek Jesus feels like a speed bump to our productivity.

But this week, as I read the resurrection account, I saw a case for lingering longer.

Most of us have some idea of what we think we deserve in life… because of good behavior, hard work, or just how we stack up to others.

But the intertwined stories of Jesus and Barabbas declare: we can be really glad God doesn’t give us what we deserve.
