Welcome to The Well-Worn Bible!
A glimpse into my story:
Growing up, I noticed that the most loving, hope-filled women I knew—my mother and grandmother—had Bibles that were falling apart from use. On stormy and sunny days alike, I saw them rise early and reach out for God through His Word. This arrested my attention as a child. And so as I grew older, I’d often sneak open the weathered pages for myself.

What I read there amazed me: truths about Christ’s sacrificial love, reports of an ever-present God and promises that a simple faith in Him could stand up to the heaviest of days.
No wonder these women were filled with hope and love!
Years later, as a young Christian in college, I felt an increased tug toward my own Bible.
God met me there, in that drafty dorm room. As I curled around a newly-gifted copy, I found that this Word written centuries ago was alive and fresh in my 21st century life! God spoke directly into what I was going through—comforting me, challenging me and changing me.
Now I can say that my Bible is getting to be well-worn.
But even better, I can say I am growing in love and relationship with the God of the Bible—and He is glorious!
I pray the same for you, friend.

About the Writer:
Hi! I’m Paige, the writer here at The Well-Worn Bible.
I spent the last four years teaching the Bible to women through an interdenominational parachurch organization (Bible Study Fellowship). Now, I’m excited to share what the Lord is teaching me here.
God’s grace, faithfulness, and lovingkindness have carried me through good times and hard. And I study His Word to know Him more.
My prayer is that the words I write here will point you to Jesus and inspire you to live in relationship with Him.
